MIRACA in action.
The project is structured into seven main workpackages, each focusing on a different aspect of the project and managed by a different partner.
workpackage 1
Hazards Exposure Vulnerability Database
Identifying and filling critical gaps of CI data and collect single and multi-hazard models that capture present-day and future climate change.
workpackage 2
Network Failure Service Disruption
Delivering insights on infrastructure failures with a focus on the interconnectedness between energy, transport and telecoms networks.
workpackage 3
Systemic Risk
Developing tools and models to assess intra- and inter- network risks resulting from multi-hazard events as well as the economic impacts of critical infrastructure failures.
workpackage 4
Adaptation
Generating decision information to support action on critical infrastructure adaptation necessary due to the effects of extreme weather events.
workpackage 5
Decision Support Toolkit
Developing a decision-support technical workbench designed for systemic risk analysis and adaptation appraisal and a user-friendly easy access interactive web viewer.
workpackage 6
Communication, dissemination and exploitation
Maximising the project’s visibility and impact through effective communication, dissemination and exploitation of scientific and technical outputs.
workpackage 7
Project Data Management
Ensuring an effective and efficient management and coordination of the project, using procedures that have proven effective in past projects and several elements specifically designed towards MIRACA.
